Loftie&#x2019;s unique two-phase alarm system consists of two different alarm sounds separated by a 9-minute snooze.The Wake-Up alarm will sound for 30-40 seconds and serves as a gentle wake-up for your brain After the Wake-Up alarm, Loftie will automatically snooze for 9-minutes.After the snooze, the Get-Up alarm will sound. This alarm is designed to get you up and out of bed.&#xA0;You can turn off the alarm by pressing the small circular button on the top right of the Loftie. (Alternatively, you can always snooze the get-up alarm for another 9-minutes by pressing the large oval button, we support snoozing for all).You can adjust the different alarm tones in both the app and the Loftie itself. SET AN ALARMTo set an alarm on Loftie, use the arrow buttons to go to ALARMS and press the small circular button to enter. Select NEW to set an alarm and use the arrow buttons and the small circular button to set your alarm.When you see a checked box next to an alarm time that means it&#x2019;s set. You will also be able to see the next alarm time displayed on the lower-left corner of Loftie&#x2019;s clock face. UNSET AN ALARMTo unset an alarm, use the arrow buttons to go to ALARMS and then press the small circular button to enter. Scroll down to the alarm you wish to unset and press the circular button to select it. Loftie is primarily a wall-connected device, powered by an included USB-C cable and power adapter. USB-C is the latest universal charging standard found in numerous laptops and mobile phones, making it a versatile way to connect Loftie to power. Your Loftie does include a rechargeable back-up battery should the power go out.&#xA0; Loftie devices are WiFi connected. They require a consistent 2.4ghz WiFi connection in order to function. Certain types of routers may require settings adjustments for Loftie to work properly. If you&apos;re not sure if you have the right specifications, contact your router&apos;s manufacturer and ask about using an IoT (Internet of Things) device that needs a stable 2.4ghz WiFi connection.&#xA0; Loftie does not have an auxiliary (aux) port for wired headphones.&#xA0; Loftie does not have any microphones listening or cameras watching&#x2014;only the things you need for winding down and waking up. Loftie does&#xA0;not have a charging port for a USB cable. We don&apos;t think you should be charging your phone on your bedside anyway! &#xA0; Like all electrical appliances, Loftie does dissipate electric energy. Unlike a phone, however, Loftie does not require a cell phone signal or WiFi signal, which means far less wireless activity. A Bluetooth signal is only sent when the user actively turns it on. While there are Loftie users around the world, we recommend checking that your country&apos;s power voltage will be compatible with US electronic devices. BluetoothLoftie can act as a Bluetooth speaker so you can fall asleep to all your favorite podcasts and playlists.To enable Bluetooth mode, make sure your Loftie is <a href="https://loftie-support.gorgias.help/en-US/updates-34919">running on the most recent software</a>. Then, on the Loftie, use the arrow buttons to navigate to BLUETOOTH in the main menu (just before the settings) and use the small circular button to select it.When Bluetooth is enabled, you will be able to see the word BLUETOOTH displayed on the upper left corner of the clock face.Next, go to the BLUETOOTH SETTINGS on your phone or tablet, and select your Loftie device. It should say CONNECTED. Now you can play content on your phone and enjoy it on Loftie.Loftie does not have an auxiliary (aux) port for wired headphones.

You do not need your phone to use Loftie&#x2014;you can play all Loftie sound content right from the device.You do, however, need to use the Loftie app to get your Loftie online. Loftie makes that easy by playing a relaxing three minute ambient lullaby meant to lull you to bed.&#xA0;How it WorksYou can turn on the Bed Signal and set your bedtime under the Settings menu. You can confirm the Bed Signal is turned on when a crescent moon displays in the top right corner of your clock screen. The Bed Signal will play every day unless it is turned off in the Settings.&#xA0;At the set time, the Bed Signal will play the Loftie lullaby (3 min 10 seconds in length) and the nightlight will turn on. Sleep TimerThe Sleep Timer allows you to play content or sound and have it stop after a set time. This is ideal for folks who don&#x2019;t want their podcasts playing all night after they&#x2019;ve drifted off to Slumberland.To enable the Sleep Timer, on the Loftie use the arrow buttons to go to SETTINGS and scroll down to SLEEP TIMER. Press the small circular button to enter and select your duration. Whatever sound playing on Loftie will stop after that set time (this includes any sound played through Bluetooth). NightlightWho doesn&#x2019;t love a nightlight? The nightlight can be turned on and off by pressing the oval snooze button and it&#x2019;s brightness can be adjusted in the app or on the Loftie itself (go to SETTINGS &gt; NIGHTLIGHT). Volume ShortcutPro-tip! Hold the left arrow button on the top of Loftie to quickly adjust the volume level for the sounds. It is also available under SETTINGS &gt; VOLUME. (note: this does not adjust the Alarm volume)To adjust the Alarm volume, on your Loftie go to ALARMS &gt; SETTINGS &gt; VOLUME. Blackout ModeNot a fan of stray light when you&#x2019;re trying to sleep? Neither are we, that&#x2019;s why we came up with Blackout mode for Loftie! Simply press and hold the oval snooze button and the clock face will black out completely&#x2014;perfect for light-sensitive sleepers. How to Restart your LoftieTo restart your Loftie, Unplug Loftie: Then press and hold the small circular button on the top right of the Loftie until the screen blacks out.
